Safe Web Site Evaluation

Hi,

I have seen a related thred but now can't find it. The question is how do I get my website evaluated by Norton Safe Web?

I have created an account, verifed ownership but all I can see is an option to have my webiste re-evaluated if I disagree with the evaluation, not to get the web site evaluated.

Hi kevj,

Since you have already verified your website, you will have to wait for evaluation - there is a queue, and it is a matter of waiting now. Your site is probably untested (grey symbol). It can take up to two weeks for your website to be evaluated. If there is still no change after two weeks, we can get a Symantec employee to have a look at the issue and evaulate your website.

You can read this thread for more information if you received a (confusing) e-mail saying that you can re-evaluate your website:

Hello kevj,

If you have successfully completed the verification process and your Safe Web profile page looks like this, then your site has been queued for analysis.

It may take 10 to 14 days to obtain the rating. If you do not see "ownership verified" under status, please post back here.

Hi,

Thanks for the quick reply.

The email is confusing (as commented upon by yourself + others) - the whole process of a site owner getting a site verifed is confusing - something you can feed back?

Anyway - thanks for your prompt reply - I will wait 2 weeks and see what happens.

Certainly a good idea which I will do.

Let us know when you get rated.

Hello,

Do you know what 'subscribe to rating change' means? I clicked on it and it now says 'unsubscribe to rating change' (or similar) - will this affect anything?

When you subscribe to that, you will be notified by email if for any reason your site rating changes.

It is an easier method than monitoring your site rating everyday.
