Safety Minder has dissapeared from computer, error when trying to reinstall please help

Hi. Received a message when i logged in to Norton Family saying that safety minder was not running on daughters laptop and that a file was missing. Checked laptop safety minder was not there. Tried to reinstall, it came up saying it had found a version of safetyminder and had to remove it. After a while it said can not remove safety minder, error with instalation.

I tried using the online support function because I use Norton Internet security, the tech guy used remote access and downloaded an add on pack, and told me that was the latest version. BUT I still don't have safety minder and it won't install. Please help Katie.

PS I also get the messages to my email saying safety minder disabled for my other daughters computer, whe n it seems to be working well. :-(

The alert says WDPlugin.dll is missing a file

and it also says

NSM service is not running
