In the past few months I installed Safety Minder on my son's computer to try and keep an eye on his internet activity, as he has been know to visit sites he shouldn't.
The computer he uses used to run Windows Vista with the in-build Parental Controls active. Since upgrading to Windows 7 these controls don't work, so I installed Safety Minder after installing Norton Internet Security 2010.
The installation went fine, and I successfully linked the computer to my Online Family account. When he accesses his computer the icon appears to show his computer is being monitored, and the yellow Paw icon appears in the System Tray.
However, this is all that happens.
On the activity report all that is reported is 'Vista Parental Controls have been activated" and nothing else is reported - no sites are blocked and no other reports are recorded... I even got a message recently telling me there has been no activity.
It doesn't seem to matter which browser is used - he mainly uses Google Chrome, but I have tried it with Firefox and IE with the same result.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version of Safety Minder with the same results.
