Norton 360, version is up-to-date, Mac OS Big Sur
Safeweb keeps blocking access to sites that I trust. It just started doing this a couple of days ago. When the red pop-up appears reading: DANGEROUS WEBPAGE BLOCKED, there's a link at the bottom that reads 'Continue to site', and I would like to, because I trust these sites. But when I click the 'continue to site' link, a pop-up I've never seen before appears, which reads: "If you visit this site..... Isolation Mode provides additional protection when visiting risky websites that may contain malware or browser exploits. Sign in to your NortonLifeLock account to enable Isolation Mode. Learn More" I don't want to use Isolation Mode, so I click the link that says 'Continue Without Isolation Mode'. Instead of being allowed to continue to the site I was going to though, I get an error message that says:
'Access Denied!
What happened?
The owner of this website has banned the autonomous system number (ASN) your IP address is in (32181) from accessing this website.'
What does this mean? Why is this happening to me, and how do I stop it?
P.S. I clicked the 'Learn More' link on the Isolation Mode pop-up, learned about Isolation Mode, and I'M NOT INTERESTED. Please don't respond to this post to answer questions I didn't ask such as 'How incredibly awesome and super-duper special is Norton's new Isolation Mode?!?!' I don't care.
