I want to help those who have the w32 problem with backup failures.
I just spent 2.5 hours in a chat. They reinstalled sw and it worked with a very small backup. Since it was showing up as a new computer, I did not have enough room to start backup all over. So, I just backed up office docs to save kid's hw. IT FAILED!!
Before finishing the lovely chat, I asked supervisor, because it was escalated, for a real phone with a real person so that I would have a direct line of communication if there were further problems.
I called the number and it had a msg that you now had to call a 900 number and PAY!!!
I have also emailed the problem.
Do not waste your time reinstalling sw
If anyone form Norton with any power sees this....
The time spent today does not include the time spent on Fridat when neither chat phone or email worked. NOT HAPPY
