Been a Norton Custom since the 80’s and it’s time to say goodbye to a product that became Ad Ware itself. Your “Don’t show again” and the “We Found blah blah blah…” only to be another product you’re attempting to sell. If my software has that ability to detect it, then you’re already ripping me off.
So, it’s time to say goodbye. I have canceled all my Norton Product Auto Renewals and will be uninstalling this Ad infected garbage.
Good while it lasted I suppose…

Good evening @GREGORYM_MUNSON ,
The community is a space for mutual assistance between users of Norton products.
I have been a customer myself since the 90s.
There are regular comments on marketing and regular pop-ups with information on complementary products.
The products in the Norton range remain excellent security products. And I also hope that comments like yours will help improve things in the near future.
Thank you for your comment and sincerely sorry for the inconvenience you are experiencing !
Sincerely
Guillaume
UPDATE: So before my first post I cancelled auto renew and now as of today I’m 40 days till product expires and they have not done anything to remove their unwanted ads or fix their pop-ups. After reading that someone was charged even after they cancelled their subscription auto renewal they were charged anyhow. So today I deleted my payment method, just to make sure this cancellation happens accordingly. I guess Norton isn’t about pleasing their customers and more into annoying the living crap out of them.
So today I’m going to test some other AV Products on a system I setup just for that purpose. Anyone got any recommendation? Avast is not one of them. Avast is just another Buy Another One Of Our Product Ad Engine.
I’ve been there. Norton has gotten so annoying. Truth is, though, it’s probably the best protection out there. I have tried many alternatives over the years [since the early 90s],and always end up back here. A few outside-the-box products you might try: ESET, Heimdal Thor Premium Home, Vipre, and ZoneAlarm Extreme Security.
