Why does one Dell PC say that i need to set up scam protection and it shows safe SMS and safe web browsing.. and then if I click it both are on and fine. And then my other Lenovo PC says that All Scam protections are ON. Strange. Shouldnt it be the same? And on the Lenovo the 2 protections are Deep Fake Protection and Safe Web. there is no mention of Safe SMS on the Lenovo. Odd. It shows a green dot but the other pc says i need to set up safe sms which is already set up on my phone and the windows app shows that it is set up. Norton, please fix this. The PCs should be consistent. Not working properly. the level1 rep just says…Dont worry about it. But, i want this to work propertly and this is annoying. Please fix this Norton. Not sure I am happy witht the “Dont worry about it” response. That is not optimal.
Safe SMS would only apply to a mobile device, as you cannot get text messages on a PC. No idea why your PC would be flagging that feature.
