Ok hope this isn't an obvious option I missed.
I have NIS 2010 installed on my three computers. Desktop running XP SP3, laptop running XP SP3, laptop running Vista 32.
When doing a full scan the two laptops scan 400K-500K files, the desktop only scans 20K-40K files.
I can only get the desktop to scan its full files (500K) by doing a custom scan and selecting the drives.
I have compared all the NIS settings between them and all the settings I see are set the same. So is there some setting I am missing that will do a full scan on the desktop. I thought I had read something when it came out about the ability of NIS to not rescan files that have not changed since last scan, but am not able to find anything about that. So I want my full scan to do ALL files on all drives.
Any ideas, help?
