Hopefully someone here can help solve the issue that I have with Norton 2010 Net Security.
First off I'll tell you that I've been using Norton Net Security for the past 6 years & have never had this problem before. I've been using 2010 since doing a clean install of Win 7 Pro 64bit.
I have 3 internal hard drives & 5 external hard drives adding up to a little over 5TB. In Settings/Scan Exclusions I have added every drive/partition to be excluded from scans except for my C drive. During the weekly idle time scan Norton still insists on scanning every hard drive/partition.
Scanning my whole pc is just a total waste of time. It's also a waste of my time as each week it finds a few files that I want kept on my system.
Is there anything else I can do to make sure that my C drive is the only drive scanned each week?
Could this be the answer that I'm seeking?
