Hello: I'm new to NIS 2011 and have a couple of questions that I hope you can help me with:
First, because my system is rarely idle (it's either on and in use, or off), I set up a scheduled scan. After I completed the setup a box appeared (Set Account Information) asking for a password. I clicked cancel and the scan setup completed. I checked the Task Scheduler Library in windows and it shows correct scan schedule. I also checked the main computer settings in NIS 2011 and the idle scan is turned off. Does anyone know what the password window was for?
Also, I'm a little confused by the Applications Rating feature. The color change for trusted files appears to happen, but the shading is very difficult to see. Also, I see a three bar graphic before "good", but don't see any checks or "Norton Trusted: (the Norton Trusted appears if I move my mouse over three-bar graph or the word "good".
Forgive me if these are simple questions, but I'm older and in poor health, so sometimes I miss things that should be easy to find. I appreciate your help.

Please note: I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 and NIS 2011, both fully updated, with no other AV products running. Windows Firewall and Windows Defender are disabled.
Thanks for the fast reply. As for the password isue, I don't have one as I am the only user. Perhaps this box pops up at this point automatically; hitting cancel lets allows the schdule process to finish. Perhaps I should add a password for the computer?
I'm OK with the ratings, I don't, however, understand why I have several files (relating to the printer and my sound card) that show up under "untrussted files" yet they're rated as good. Should I change those to trusted? What I was referring to was the background color that the help file refers to (under Norton Insight - Application Rating) - I see the color change is subtle, and I'm red green colorblind!
I have noted in my testing also that if your Windows user account password is "blank" then hitting OK when setting up the scheduled scan in NIS results in an error message that the password is not valid. This is OK and will still work, just a minor bug in NIS.
Regarding the Application ratings related to your printer and sound card, yes you can go ahead and change these to "user trusted".
Regarding the color scheme I am sorry that this is causing difficulty for you. I would suggest that you post a suggestion in the Norton Ideas Forum and suggest more neutral colors that would be easier on the eye.
