Hi all
I've had NIS 2010 installed for about 2 weeks now on my XP SP3 machine. I've noticed that my screen saver, which i have set to turn on after 5 minutes will only turn on for a couple of minutes, then my desktop appears. I've noticed that a NIS notification box is just going away when the screen saver kicks off. It goes away pretty fast so I'm not able to read what it says. When poking around in NIS right after it happens, it seems that it is the pulse updates might be causing this as they've just updates seconds earlier. I'm wondering if it's the notification windows that popup that is causing the screen saver to turn off or the pulse updates themselves. I chatted with support online but they did not have any suggestions and have never heard of the issue. Has anyone ran into this issue? I'd like for my screen saver to actually run and eventually go into powersaving mode, etc. instead of being on 24x7. I have ran updates so it's up to date as much as it can be. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions that anyone has. Thanks in advance!!
