Secure VPN Safari Problems (Mac OS Big Sur)

Hello....

Starting my Mac (Big Sur 11.1) everything works fine.
Secure VPN is coming up and I can establish VPN connection.
Using Safari sometimes I get a good connection to the visited Websites. But suddenly when changing site content or to another site it needs either very very long for a connection update or the connection doesn't come up.
Switching VPN off - mostly the same connection comes up immediately.
It looks like the connected server has problems with the safari connection using activated Norton Secure VPN.
Inside my network I have also iPad (with Norton VPN) and some Windows 10 PCs (also Secure VPN active / Firefox).
These systems didn't ever show these effect of "slowing down" or "endless waiting".....
I saw these effect also by previous OSx-Versions - and it was always boring using my Mac together with activated Secure VPN!!!
So being Hard-/Software-Development engineer myself, I am sure, this must be a problem of Safari (or OSx) working together with Secure VPN.
Every software (Norton and OSx) is up to date - and reinstallation of Secure VPN doesn't solve the issue.

I've had a similar problem.  I just got a new MacBook Pro and my internet was extremely slow.  It was taking 2 or more minutes to load a single site.  I then noticed that I wasn't having the same problem on my iPad Pro.  The only difference was Norton Secure VPN was activated on the MacBook Pro.  I turned off the VPN and immediately my internet was lightning fast.

However, this was more than a Safari problem.  I also was having problems with downloads.  There were updates in the App Store for several apps including Pages, Numbers, and others.  The downloads were so slow that I had to stop them.  After I turned off Norton Secure VPN the updates downloaded quickly.

So this appears to be a problem with the Mac version of Norton Secure VPN, at least when using Mac OS BigSur 11.2.  I do like having a VPN, so I hope Norton fixes this problem soon.

Meanwhile Big Sur 11.2...smiley But still the same problem with Safari and acitvated Norton Secure VPN connection...

Nobody any idea???
