I have been busy fine-tuning WIN8.1 after I needed to do a system restore not long ago. That was before I read the warnings about disabling N360 before the restore. This is just history.
To help isolate problems I ran task manager. I also downloaded Sysinternals® Process Explorer. I noticed in the Security History Log that Procexp64 was always being blocked. Since it's a runtime background service, I get myriad Security History Log entries.
This, to me, creates much excessive time spent insprecting the looong logs.
So I added Procexp64 to every setting in N360. Finally today i discovered that if I disabled Tamper Protection for a short while, the logging stopped. As soon as Tamper Protection activated the logging started again.
I certainly do not want to disable Tamper Protection.
Have I missed any GURU-type tricks? Or do I live with huge logs?
As usual - TIA
