I just down loaded and installed NIS 5 on my Mac Book Pro running 10.8.2. I connected my external drive to run a Time Machine back up but NIS never started to scan the drive. I have also connected an UBS stick and it to was not scanned. Manual scans are working. Seems like antivirus might not be working. Can some please look into this. I am running NIS for Mac version 12.3(71).
