Sept. 2 update breaks this on Firefox and Edge - can't sign in

Issue abstract: On Sept. 2, this app stopped working.

Detailed description: On opening either Firefox or Edge, the icon for this app has a red exclamation triangle. Tapping it shows I’m not logged in. Attempting to login always fails - on Edge I get a progress spinner for a couple minutes, then a failure dialog “Sorry, something went wrong please try again” and the page vanishes. On Firefox, the page just shows progress forever.

Product & version number: 8.3.1.1495

OS details: Windows 11

What is the error message you are seeing? “Sorry, something went wrong please try again” when trying to login

Hello @MarkA_Peters
Care to share your progress
Thanks

Spent about an hour and a half with tech support via chat. They took over my computer, investigated, then escalated to 2nd tier then 3rd tier support. They couldn’t figure it out, so grabbed logs and other data, and scheduled a callback for the next morning.

When my computer powered on in the morning before the time of the call, the problem had vanished. Perhaps because of that, they didn’t call back.

I didn’t check if there was a Live update before I opened the browser. Perhaps it was a server side thing?

Anyway, back to normal on all browsers I use.

According to the time/date stamp on the extension, it was updated on Sept. 2.
