Serious VProTray errors with Ghost 15 on Windows 7

I am running Ghost 15.0 on a laptop with Windows 7.  Everything worked fine for months.  However, I have begun having serious issues.

When I boot, I get an error message "Vprotray.exe - No disk" There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk in to the Drive \Device\Harddisk2\DR2. I get the options of Cancel, Try Again or Continue.

Clicking any of them results in the error reappearing.  And, my system slows to a crawl.

Finally, after trying various ways to stop the program, I had to remove Ghost from startup.

And, I cannot run Ghost without getting this error.

Any suggestions?  I've always been a big fan of Ghost... but, I am ready to remove it from my laptop.
