Server error... Try again later (2061)/ Norton 360

Server error. We’re working to resolve an issue that prevents us from completing your request. Try again later (2061).

The same problem is on the phone. I tried to find a solution on the internet but nothing helped me (tried liveupdate, fix tool, remove and reinstall tool). In result I just can’t use Norton. I’ll be very greatfull if you help me with this problem

Since I am located in the middle east and I bought the license from Czech Republic, I assumed that changing the location to Europe will help.
I managed to fix it on my iPhone and my windows PC using a free VPN to change my location to France and activate Norton then I deleted the Free VPN.

Did you Restart (not Shut down) machine? ..... YES
Do you see "server error" with Activate Now? ..... YES
Do you have Norton account? ..... YES
Does Norton account report subscription Active? YES

As the problem occurs on multiple different devices (iPad, iPhone, WIN11_PC), I assumed that it is a real server connection issue.

Since I am located in the middle east and I bought the license from Czech Republic, I assumed that changing the location to Europe will help.
I managed to fix it on my iPhone and my windows PC using a free VPN to change my location to France and activate Norton then I deleted the Free VPN.

Not sure this will fix the problem for everyone, but I hope so. Anyway, I communicated this issue with Norton and waiting for the official final fix.

There are no problems logging into the account on the website, but when I try to log into the account on the phone (app from App store)  the same problem (Server error...) occurs. Looks like I really need to contact Norton support(

this is puzzling if everything else is working ( connection and sign in wise minus program)

the only thing i can think of and this is only a guess and a long shot if it might work ( never had this problem myself)

reset your phone network ( should be just a few taps)

or try using wifi connection

Curious, can you access your Norton account? 
Is your phone on WiFi or Data?

some of the error messages you can find on norton site for these have the same answer ( restart and reinstall)

not always clear what the issue is or was causing it

you can try these 2 steps

 

1-   in scans at bottom runt he scan diagnostic  ( should be all green)

 

2-   in classic mode top right click help, on left click get support ( auto fix tool)

let that run

sometimes its a installation issue or something else it will find

it will prompt you to restart if it finds anything
