The "/SESCAN" Command line option is supposed to do the following:
Performs Quick Scan in the background.
Note:
Norton Internet Security displays the scans window only when a threat is detected.
However, I downloaded a file that was flagged as a hacktool (a Nirsoft file) and it didn’t show the window on the error. To be sure, I took the “/SESCAN” out of the command line and the window ran as usual and it flagged the error. This option is NOT working properly.
