Please help...

Br,

JP

Hi,

Update on this, problem lies in Norton firewall. XBOX 360 was able to connect normally to my PC using media connection once I disabled firewall, but after it was enabled back, connection was lost. I added the fw rules for those tcp and udp ports, but that didn't help.

I read this message list and tried the suggestions.  And they did not work.

Allow me to let you know what worked for me, to allow my Xbox 360 to talk to my Vista Premium via Media Player sharing and Media Center Extender.

When you open up the Norton 360 panel, with the four big circles, you will see:

"my network" in small print in the lower left corner. Click on it.

Close the help/instruction box if it opens.  You should see a listing of network devices.  I believe your Xbox needs to be on at this point.

Find your device and select it.

To the right of "Trust Level" is an "edit button". Click on it.

Change the setting to "full trust", and if you are like me, you will be golden.

globe999, thanks very much for your help. That did the trick and XBOX is now able to access my pc.

Big Thanks !!!!!

Cheers,

JP
