Setting up several kids on more than one computer

I downloaded successful on one computer "Comp A" and assigned child#1 to that computer.  I downloaded on a 2nd computer "Comp B", but didn't received the download successful msg (after waiting for some time).  I proceeded to create a profile for child #2.  Child #2's profile was create under "Comp A" .  So now I had 2 kids setup under one computer (this wasn't a bad thing, but....). I was trying to find a way to get "Comp B" listed as a choice & decided to remove "Comp A" from child #2's profile (since Comp B is the primary computer for child #2).

Well that removed "Comp A" from child #1's profile also.

What to must I do to get things in order?

I think I have to (I'm hoping there's an easier way) uninstall OFN from both computers. Then reinstall it.  And this time make sure I get the "installation successful' msg box and the computer assignment box before going on.  And then assign only one computer to each child (which wouldn't be ideal for me).

Is this right?  Is there any way to have several kids monitored on several computers?

Thanks to any help anyone can supply.

Hi KeepingItSafe,

You don’t need to uninstall Norton Safety Minder for both PCs.

For “Comp A”, you can edit user account child#2 with Norton Safety Minder.  Please read the link below for details.  Make sure you select “Does not use this computer” option for child#2.  https://onlinefamily.norton.com/familysafety/help/help-editing-user-account-with-nsm.jsp

For “Comp B”, please uninstall and reinstall Norton Safety Minder and make sure it gets installed successfully.

Yes.  Please check this link for details. https://onlinefamily.norton.com/familysafety/help/associating-windows-account.jsp

Thanks,

Removing a computer from a child's profile will remove it from your account. You don't need to reinstall the safety minder, just update the house rules, and it should reshow the window that asks you to put a computer name and the account.

Children aren't associated with a computer. You associate children with user logins on a computer. So once you register a computer with your account, select which users on the computer each of your children use. You can do this either on the safety minder or on the website.
