Settings Password No Longer Works

Hello,

 

I set up a Password in Settings and for some reason it no longer works.  Does the password somehow expire after a certain time?

 

Is there a way I can reset it?

Hello,

 

I should have checked for answers before posting this.

 

I went into Programs and Features and clicked the Uninstall button for Norton and reset my password.

After reading the recent posts on how to do this I now can access my setting!  Thanks Community

Hi,

 

Click on "Start" button -> Click on "All Programs" -> Click on "Norton Internet Security" -> Click on "Uninstall" link.

 

"Select Your Uninstall Preference" UI will be displayed. Check the bottom of the UI, you will find a "reset settings password" link. "Reset Password Key" will be displayed in the UI, enter it in the "Reset Password Key" field and provide the new password for your settings.
