I've been able to google any file I've been curious about.
[edit: fixed link.]
Might I get a Norton person to tell me what this file is for?
I had just never noticed this before
Brandon, I checked the link you gave, but I don’t have NIS just NAV2008.

Ya I have that file on my system and I use Norton internet Security 2008, it’s one of those Unsolved mysterys of Norton. what does it do, good luck getting a asnwer for that. but you can search your system and look for it and when you do, right mouse click on it and select properties and see if it’s got a Digital signature because all of nortons stuff has one.
is your subscription about to run out? I had a pop up about renewing when I re-started my computer and thats when I noticed the entry in my activity log
No I am good for another 207 days. maybe it has something to do with the Subscription service. God knows what favor of coke they use when they write this stuff. it comes and goes don’t worry about it.did you check to make sure it has a Digital signature ? if so thats about all you can do, if you have less then 30 days left then time to buy another copy.
yes it has the digital sig. I think it popped up again when I was alerted that my subscription was running out. So bet it has to do with that. Thanks man
