Hello, I'm planning to install NIS2011.
Last year I planned to install NIS2010 but never did. In preparation for installing NIS2010
I downloaded the following files:
1. Norton Removal Tool - 2010.0.0.098 and 2010.0.5.18 (for an older pre-installed version)
2. NIS-UPGRADE-ESD-17-1-0-19UPEN and 17-5-0-127EN
3. HotFix Tool KB20100122121538EN
I deleted these from all locations (desktop and prefetch) and then deleted them from Recycle Bin.
My question is, should I use a 2010 NRT to be certain any traces which may remain won't interfere
with NIS2011 installation? If so, please give the URL for the appropriate NRT.
Also, is the 2011 Update still not available for manual downloading?
