I was recently hacked by intrusion through the "chronod" application on my Mac. The Norton firewall did catch this, and allowed me to block the attack. However, I was going to report this, and needed the MAC or IP address of the computer that attacked me. All of my security history specific to application blocking was deleted, for all time.
I was wondering if my hacker didn't alter the software to not record suspicious incoming connections. I am just letting the community know that somehow hackers can delete parts of the security history, and that this vulnerability remains unsolved.
