Hi to all!
I would like to know whether there is something new about the problem of putting the pc in standby mode after a backup with GHOST 15 ?
This is the same problem of this topic : http://community.norton.com/t5/Other-Norton-Products/How-do-I-get-Ghost-15-to-allow-standby-after-backups/m-p/660801#M44561 (but the topic seems to be closed and you can't post there anymore)
My problem :
I run a backup after work and I would like to put the pc in standby mode as soon as the operation is done, to avoid leaving the pc on all night long.
The way to do that is using a command bat (%windir%\System32\rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState) that you schedule to run after the recovery point is finished.
If I use the same method to shutdown the pc after backup, it does work. but not with the standby
. (And I'd prefer not having to shutdown the pc since I have some program which don't like to be closed too often).
The backup stops at 94% with the message like: a program couldn't execute in the correct time or something like that.
Any help welcomed!
Thanks a lot.
