SICK AND TIRED OF NORTON -I am so angry

I am not utterly and totally sick and tired of Norton internet security and wish I had never heard of it.

Signing into my account is a nightmare, I cannot access my subscriptions, the system keeps reverting me back to log in time and time again.

I cannot re-install Norton no matter what I try even though I have paid for a years subscription for up to 5 devices.  I have tried phoning support  which is like watching paint dry,  it is so slow in responding that I have given up on that score. As for Norton Security Vault, forget it. All windows updates are installed and up to date so why is there a problem with downloading Norton?

I actually thought that matters were improving this morning when I tried YET AGAIN to re-install only to receive  an on - line message which refers  to 'corruptions'  so yet again I was left in limbo.

I have had to pay for another security service to protect my computer, this is up and running, I did a scan with it  looking for any computer  'corruptions' this morning and nothing was found.

I just want to close this useless Norton account but cannot even do this as the system will not allow me to do so.

It is past a joke now, I have  no security from Norton. End of story.

You mentioned earlier that you had tried phoning Norton Support. The chat method is much  quicker than phone support in most cases.. bjm gave a link that covers both phone and chat. It would be best to give chat a try. Here is another link to try for chat.

I have tried everything but nothings seems to work. I cannot even fully access parts of my account apart from signing in.

I have been with Norton for a number of years and have never had problems like the current situation. Normally it works fine . Prior to the current problem I also had a similar problem trying to download Norton on to another device which did not work , I gave up trying eventually.

My newly  installed  internet security by a different company is working fine, I am a little frightened to remove it in order to  attempt to use Norton remove and re-install as I have no guarantee that Norton will install correctly which would  then leave me without any  internet security whatsoever.

I have double checked everything, all windows updates are up to date etc., I am stlll  very baffled by the fact that two other top rated security systems were able to download without any problems yet Norton will not.

Have you tried using the Norton Remove and reinstall Tool?  You can try this, but you would first have to uninstall the other security program you are using with their removal tool and then restart.

www.norton.com/nrnr  This link should remove your current version of NIS and replace it with the current version.
