In that case, I would just ignore it until you want to look at your Identity section if you have that service on your subscription. As I noted above, you do not need to be signed into your account for your device to be protected.

No. I do not get any notification.

Are you getting any notifications to Sign In, or are you just noticing Sign In when you tap on the three bars at the top left of the app?

The only change I see when I sign in is the Identity section becomes active. The security features of your device are not affected if you are not signed in.
