I posted an earlier question asking if my NIS 2011 was working due to allowing myself to view a "malicious wesite blocked" I received 2 replies, excerpts:
1."Your visit may not have infected your computer this time but it did designate the site as 'allowed'. This could cause problems in the future." 2nd said " Norton page blocks are based on a site's reputation. A page block tells you that the site you are visiting has been known to host malware in the past. You may or may not be attacked if you click through."
My question is: being I allowed mysellf to access webpage, does that have any effect on the "site safety ratings" on the replies I get say when I use a search engine?
