Recently, I have noticed that two sites I've been visiting for years are now being blocked by SafeWeb, at least some of the time. The first is RealClearPolitics http://www.realclearpolitics.com/?state=nwa, which is blocked intermittently -- sometimes it is, sometimes not. Strange thing here -- this site worked perfectly on my old desktop, but when I started using a new desktop, the site is blocked part of the time, and each time it loads, another site (ad for PCKeeper) loads also. I can't seem to block the PCKeeper site, but I was not getting this adware with the old desktop, even though it used the same version of Norton 360. Only other difference is that old desktop was Windows 7 Home Premium vs new desktop's Win 7 Professional. This seems very odd to me. Any explanations for this anomaly?
Also, today my local news channel's site was also blocked. I've visited this site for years without issues; I see no obvious signs of malware, but still the site is blocked. I also use both these sites on my laptop; it has had the issue with RealClearPolitics for awhile, but the local news site issue is new today. I've compared settings between the two (they were set up identically), and see no differences. Am I possibly missing something in setup or elsewhere that would cause these sites to be blocked on one computer, but not on the other? Thank you for any help anyone can offer!
