The NIS 2011 installed perfectly on my XP Pro machine. On my laptop Vista Business 32 bit, it hung on the window showing "installing." I manually exited and then restarted the program, but it went back to the same place. After leaving the computer running for 2-3 hours, it was still there. Since all disk activity had stopped, and the CPU load was 2% or so, I took a chance and rebooted. It came up with the normal NIS icons on the desktop, NIS running, and successfully activated the installation. About the only thing which did not get picked up in my upgrade was the passcode used for the WiFi map remote monitoring. I manually reentered that on both machines, and all is, so far, going fine.
