Recently it often takes too long for Outlook to receive emails. For example 3 emails with 5Mb of images each will timeout in 5 minutes after only the first one is received. I have extented the Outlook timeout from 1 minute to 10 minutes but this has had ne effect on the performance. I am using Windows 10 and Outlook from Office 2000. Looking at Network activity in Resource Monitor it sems that nis.exe is operating at around 20,000 bytes.sec for about 4 mins before the first email is passed through. Outlook then times out with an error after 5 mins.
