I bought a new HP Envy 17-3290nr laptop, which is a great laptop, HP's top tier.. With it came a 2 year subscription to Norton Internet Security, which I like and it has a lot of features.. However, the one thing I hate and that is causing me to remove the program is the extremely slow loading of web pages on Google Chrome.. It is not quite so bad with IE 9, but since I don't use IE and do use Chrome, it is just killing me! Some web pages actually take minutes to load and the web page is frozen the entire time until the page is scanned I guess...
So, is there anything I can do to speed up this process, or is it just the way it works? I am using Microsoft Security Essentials in the mean time, which does not hamper anything and has almost zero taxation on the system..
