Norton 360 8.5.10 (and previous) on Catalina 10.15.7 seems to have a slow startup problem which delays Internet access for Chrome, Firefox, 1Password, etc (but not Safari) until the Norton icon is loaded into the menu bar one or two minutes after login. This has been reported in the past, but never fixed as far as I can tell. I have done the delete/reinstall Norton routine with no luck.
Will Norton 8.5.10 be updated to fix this problem or is there a known solution? Anyone else still having this problem?
I cannot upgrade to Big Sur because my Mac is too old. Catalina is the last supported version. Things worked fine on Mojave.
