Smart Firewall Blocking Outlook and Internet

previously tried all the uninstall, reinstall stuff - finally ASK in Prog Control seemed to work again…

but then EDGE still stops working

I had the same problem. The update tuned Smart Firewall to be overly sensitive in assigning networks as Public or Private. I found that it reassigned my home network from “Private” to “Public”; therefore, it started blocking my incoming and outgoing internet traffic. You’ll need to go into settings → Smart Firewall → Network. You should then see your network, and it will be identified as “Public” or “Private”. Ensure your network is assigned as “Private”. This should hopefully remedy your connectivity issue.
