I am currently using Norton 21.1.0.18 on Windows 8 and am up to date on my updates. I have had the product installed for about 90 days and until recently it ran like a champ. However recently the Smart Firewall has been blocking numerous applications inappropriately, example both IE, FireFox my mail client. As soon as I turn Firewall off everything works fine.
I have read the posts to reset to default settings and that seems to clear the problem up for 24 hours, hen we are backed to being blocked again. Reset the Firewall to default and again we are good.
Appreciate any help, I don't want to be turning off one of the main reasons I bought the product.
