I have a recent version of Norton Internet Security. It is updated. I have reinstalled it. I have no other anti-virus security software installed. I have no bundled security software.
I am running Windows 7 on a desktop. Windows Defender is Off. Windows Firewall is On (I have also tried turning it Off).
My Norton Internet Security is all Green and showing 'You Are Protected'. However, whenever I start my PC, I see a pop-up, advising that Norton Smart Firewall is Off. I click 'fix now' and am advised that it has been turned On. However, in the Norton IS Settings, Smart Firewall and Intrusion Prevention are both Off and cannot be turned on. These settings are unaffected whether Windows Firewall is On or Off.
