Hi,
I have been trying to get Skype and/or Logitech Vid to work well. Have tested all settings in each of these programs, everything tests out okay, but we can't get decent video, audio or both with either of these. Read how firewall might interfer, so tested without -- no difference. Have done this on numerous computers. I honestly don't get how seemless it all seems to be for other people, including those in the most remote corners of the world. 
Anyway, now that I did all this to no avail, I'd like to turn my Norton Internet Security, Smart Firewall, Program Control back to the default Auto settings. (I'd turned Logitech Vid, Skype and Skype Extras Manager to "Allow"). When I try to turn it back the "Auto" option is grayed out. I'd also tried "Default All" in the main Internet Settings window. Rebooted, the whole 9 yards. What should I do?
Also, any suggestions on how to get decent quality video chat much appreciated. I'd give up if it weren't for the fact that my family really wants to use it.
