Since updating to 26.8.11125 (build 26.8.11125.0) the Smart Scan results only shows the “Issues Slowing Down Your Computer” screen and wants to you fix them or skip them and when you select skip it then shows you a an advertising screen wanting you to try Norton Ultimate Utilities for 60 days and telling you the price after the sixty days is done. I never see any Smart scan results of whether it found anything besides “Issues Slowing Down Your Computer” screen. It appears that Smart Scan is now only used to advertise “Norton Ultimate Utilities” and nothing else. I do not need nor want Norton to fix anything that may or may not be slowing down my computer as I will take care of that myself. If you are just going to use smart scan to advertise then I would think about naming it something else besides Smart. I have stopped the schedules run of Smart scan.
