Sneak Peak takes picture only from back camera

I have a Sony Vaio ultrabook model SVD112A1WL (windows 8) . It comes with two cameras: front & back.

 

When I use the app camera (pre-installed with Win 8) I can select either front & back camera ad they both can take picture.

 

However, when I use SneakPeak, it takes picture using only the back camera. Since the computer is on a desk, all I can get is a dark picture.  If I lifted the ultrabook up, then I can see the picture showing the top of my desk.

 

How do I select the front camera ?
