Software updater results are not showing in right panel of app on PC

The main dashboard does not show this. There is no Software Updater in the rightmost panel here. Why not? Is it not on the panel if there is nothing to update? Why is it not there? Can someone explain this?

i checked it through the settings path and i see that all software is updated. Any idea why software updater is not on that main panel with a green check?? Anyone else not see it there? This is my other current issue right now.

This and then the notification of the protection report alert that takes forever to go away and is not needed. No need for that alert when we can just click on our protection score to see the same thing. Norton needs to kill that notification. It is useless for me. Has no value at all. Says (1) after i view it. Only goes to (0) after a long time. Fix this Norton. This has been a frustration for about 3 or 4 months or more. Why still an issue? Thanks.

Have you scrolled down in the right panel to see if Software Updater is listed further down the page?

yes, of course. Not there. i have a case opened for this but not hearing back on it.

Not all 360 features are listed on the home page. Software updater is listed under Performance on the left side of the 360 interface.

Yes, i do see it there, but i also did see it in that main panel before. Maybe that was on my WIndows 10 machine, but i think i did see it in the panel on another pc that i support and that is Windows 11. How come when i called in to Norton they didnt say that it is only in the Performance section. No one has told me that. Wouldnt they say that if it were the case? Either that is not the case or they did not receive proper training again. I also dont go into that performance tab all the time. It is odd that I wouldnt be alerted about the software. It used to show on the panel. now it does not. Inconsistent software.

Is there a way to get a definite answer on this one? Why did they make me create a file ID and submit this through their system if it isnt an issue? Odd. Something is off here. Maybe you mean the features are not always listed, but sometimes listed. Not sure. need it fixed. Issue status: UNRESOLVED.

Again, I point out that the first line support agents only work off scripts they are given. So it is not their training that is lacking. It is whoever is in charge of keeping the scripts updated.

When their scripts cannot resolve things, they are trained to create the ticket to escalate the issue.

I did not mean anything. I don’t monitor my 360 interface except when others bring up issues. I just let Norton do its job in the background.

All: Just reviewed all my assistance screenshots as far back as 25.12 version. I cannot definitively see software updater in any of those screenshots. I might add that there have been dozens of changes to the UI over the past two years and those screenshots reflect that.

ok i always check that main dashboard. I should probably just stay away from it so that i dont run into issues. The alerts just waste my time usually.

det er en design fejl norton ved er der den er fixe i 26.4 de går hårdt til værks der men det er der de planer at fixe det de har fixet ca 13 fejl nu i 23.3 plus og de er kun lige begyndt men design er teknisk det er ikke før 26.4 hele norton 360 bliver bugfixet så alt skal være væk i 26.4 spørg bare norton design er ikke noget du bare fixer

Shouldnt they test the product first internally and then release after the bugs are worked out? Why release first for us to find bugs?

You say you dont understand what I mean? What doesnt make sense? Use the product first. Have a team use it for themselves and deal with the bugs… Then fix the bugs. Then roll it out to customers. Make sense?

Software updateren er i højre hjørne jeg ser det selv hvis du ikke har den har du ikke den nyeste version den har været der i lang tid plus de har rettet flere fejl i den bare i den her uge de har rettet ca 13 fejl så nej har du prøvet reinstall reperer den den er der 100%

Ok, yes, it is not in my right panel. Someone else said it is only in the performance tab. Who knows. i have everything up to date and a ticket opened for all of my issues. No response yet and no solution. Show a jpg picture of what you see in your main panel on the right. Thanks. Wonder when Norton will figure this out or any of these issues that have been open for months.

Ok, thanks. I do not have that in my panel. Only in Permormance area. Someone told me it isnt in the Panel for some. I have Norton 360. Version 26.3.10886 (build 26.3.10886.978). Never know who is right. All I know is that i dont see this in my rightmost panel. And the level 1 folks do not know much. I am not hearing back from Norton. the case just sits out there for weeks. I have run the repair recently. need Norton to respond or do something. Has been an issue for long time. They did a reinstall before too.

you got a bug in you software so rapier ore reinstall that is you options then you need a complet reinstall and delete all files if you dont has it you got a bug all other got it just not you that is a bug not norton like it ore not maybe on you pc test it in a virtuel pc see what happen

ANother user sees this in his rightmost panel. i do not see it there. why not? i am using Norton 360 version:
26.3.10886 (build 26.3.10886.978). I called Norton again. First time rang once then dead silence. Called again later and worked with another number. Then on hold a while as the support person researched the issue. Took a long time and came back with the wrong issue. I told him the correct issue and that i emailed in about it earlier and finally he understood it. Says it is with level 3 and they will contact me. Not sure if they will or not, but he says they will. Has been open for weeks. They open cases and they just sit out there.

jeg det er lige blevet fixet for ca 10min siden super at det faktisk var en fejl men de har meget at lave lige nu undskyld som det ser ud lige nu så har de meget at se til mere end nu tror de fixer jo ca 10 fejl om uge det vil sige slut maj så har de fixet ca 40 fejl de to 13 fejl den her uge
selv om de siger de ringer til mig så ringer de aldrig tilbage men det er ok da jeg ikke er sikker på de kan men de får deres info via email ellers og over chat men de får alt faktisk tror jeg ikke en af de fejl der er fixet nu ikke er en jeg har meldt dem men det er svært at fixe en fejl man ikke ved man har det er derfor de fixer alt nu da alt skal være stabil til 26.4 så efter den i 26.5 til 26.7 så kommer der super nice ting som vi alle vil ha man kan ikke smide ting i et system der er ustabil det er ikke for de de ikke vil før det er fordi 26.2 og 26.3 hade så store fejl at det fatter du ikke støre end nu tro men de var store ok kontrolpanelet er ikke 100% stabil men det er bedre end før det var aldrig

I can’t explain why you are not seeing what Globus5000 is. It may be some localization of the versions we see. I have the same version of 360 that both of you have and this is my Home 360 window from Canada. And scrolling down on the right does not have Software Updater listed on the right side.
