[SOLVED] My Norton does not run Full Scan or Quick Scan

I just had to restart my computer...lol sorry for the trouble.

So my norton internet security keeps telling me my system is at risk, but when I click fix now, it won't fix. I am not good at computer programing and stuff, so please keep the response at a dummy level S:

Also when I try to manually start the scans from the "Scan Now" Button, it won't scan =________=", like it won't do anything when you press full scan, or quick scan. Even when you try to run it from the custom scans it won;t work. idk what happened, but is it a virus or something?
