Hi all,
I have a problem with Sonar Protection continually switching off even after being selected to on. I have carried out the removal of Norton 360 as described in this thread https://community.norton.com/en/forums/your-pc-not-protected-sonar-advanced-protection-1 and used the removal tool. This worked properly. I then re installed (From a DVD) Norton 360. Sonar was working. I then carried out a live update and rebooted as per the instructions. Sonar continued to work. Then the One Click support screen appeared and Sonar switched off. The one click support stated that it failed to communicate with the server. I clicked YES to release my IP but One Click refused to communicate and is still asking for an IP to be released.
I am running win 7 home premium.
Am I safe to continue without Sonar until this issue is resolved? Any thoughts?
