I develop on utilities on my personal computer using Delphi 7 under Windows 8.1 . Lately, when I go to execute a program so create, I get a "Security Risk Detected" box pop up be Norton telling me that my program represents a threat with the name "SONAR.Heuristic.120" I gather that this "risk" is raised since (1) "Fewer than 5 users have used this file" and (2)This file was released less than 1 week ago". I assume that there must be a way of telling Norton 360 to not flag programs I create myself but cannot find out how.
Can anybody tell me how to turn off this sonar feature for locally compiled program?
I just used system restore to recover my computer to 3 days ago and now Norton Internet Security 2010 SONAR won't work. I have had it since Mar 2, 2010 and it has worked fine up until now. I have restored my system once before and Norton still worked perfectly. How can I fix it?

Hi andale524
Welcome to the Norton Community Forums
Since you have done a system restore you should uninstall and then reinstall NIS2010. If you use Identity Dafe you should back it up to a .npm file to be restored should you need to after the reinstallation. Since you have a valid subscription you can, if you to, install NIS2011 for free after downloading it from the following link.
