Spam increased over last few weeks

I have noticed that the spam has increased over the last few weeks. I have tried submitting the spam but it is not training. Has anyone else noticed this issue?

It would depend on what the subject line contains, and what is in the body. The subject line can be innocuous, and you only realize it is spam when you open it. If the body contains an image, Norton has no way of knowing if it is a birthday picture or an image of a spam offer.

And the email address is a difficult thing to track, because you may receive spam generated from a email address from one of your contacts that has been compromised, or spoofed.

As I do not use Outlook, I'll leave this to others to comment on the workings of Norton Anti Spam with Outlook.

Where are you using the Norton Anti Spam on your Android device?

I'll also ask this thread be moved to the appropriate forum board, as this is not strictly a mobile issue.

I understand that. I am using the training tool to send the spam to Norton. It does not work, as I will constantly get the same sender, subject line, and body. Sometimes they are using a new compromised email address, but the subject line and body does not change.

You cannot stop spam from being sent to you, you can only deal with it using spam filtering. Where are you submitting the spam for 'training'?
