There's something like 4,000 spams in my Nortain Anti-Spam folder. I try to empty it; it doesn't empty. Nothing happens. Now all e-mail that Norton flags as spam goes to my Inbox, flagged, but still it's my Inbox -- not the Norton Anti-Spam folder (which I can't empty). Which is not a happening thing. Any suggestions?

Service Pack 2, Windows XP, Outlook Express. Never had a problem all this time. 18.8.04.1.
TYPO. 16, not 18.
Outlook Express 6 (6.00.2900.5512). Yet everything's been fine. This was all of a sudden.

From the Norton product there's a newer version, the 2010 product line. Upgrading to the latest version is always free.
You can get the latest product versions from the Norton Update Center.
Plus I would suggest to update to Windows XP Service Pack 3.

Next time if you get this error again just try to disable AntiSpam, open your e-mail client, then close it and reenable AntiSpam.
This worked! !! Thanks!
Hi sleepingcat
Microsoft will cease support for XP SP2 systems on July 13 - you will no longer get OS updates after this date. You should be updating to Service Pack 3 in order to maintain the best level of OS protection on your system.
