several friends got emails characterized by a blank subject line and a message consisting of a clickable website link. This caused the installation of a worm that sent out duplicate messages to everyone in their address book. I may be infected but cannot tell after I opened the first one from a niece and it was an ad for a Canadian pharmacy. Below are some of the websites from other similar messages I have received in the last few days.
kazymomy.110mb.com/kadezavi.html
lastpartynight.com/dir.php
csereklub.hu/indexx1.php
eziogeradi.it/index229.php
gymnicacenter.com/index229.php
decoracionfacil.net/index000.php
all but the first one has a .php extension. I googled php and it is a file type created by a scripting language produced by a company named Tizag.com which helps people create their own webpages. I suspect that all of the above links offer something for sale and spread their advertising through the address book. I use Outlook Express but the messages above came from AOL, MSN and perhaps a few more. Norton does not pick up anything when I receive these emails but I do not open them. Websafelite calls tizag.com a safe site but it has links within it offering information and tutorials and they have the php extension. The emails go out to several recipients at a time and nothing shows up in my sent box. I consider tizag.com to be a rogue site. is their any way to block anything from them or with the php extension? All they are is a spammy advertising company.
Thanks
