It seems that Norton software is taking a long time to respond, if it all. I am trying to check firewall settings and allowed access. I can get to firewall GUI but then if I click any tab nothing happens and eventually I might get a message that Norton is not responding. I am not happy about this situation.
I've been there with Norton. It's super frustrating when it just hangs like that. Have you tried restarting your computer? Sometimes a simple reboot can clear things up. If that doesn't work, you might want to try reinstalling the software.
Another thing to check is if there's any other software that might be conflicting with Norton. Sometimes other security programs can cause issues. You could also try reaching out to their support, but I know that can be a pain too.
In the meantime, maybe look into some alternative security software? I've heard good things about Bitdefender and Kaspersky. They might be worth a shot if Norton keeps giving you trouble.I plan to use them

2) Are you trying to access your Norton Password Manager vault?

- Does LiveUpdate run?
- Does QuickScan run?
- Did you Restart (not Shut down) device?
- What other real-time protection?
- What real-time protection before Norton?...properly removed before installing Norton?
Be sure you are using the Restart command. Not Shut down and startup again if you have Windows Fast Startup feature enabled. If you use Windows 8/8.1, 10 or 11, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. See more information here. (credit peterweb)
