First to get the simple stuff out of the way:
1) Daughter doesn't know the admin password on her laptop.
2) OLF is installed and running on her laptop. It's a new install, so please don't suggest I uninstall and reinstall.
3) Daughter's account is "limited", i.e., she has no admin rights.
4) Running version 2011 on Vista. All updates are current. No other firewalls are active, etc., etc.
Now for the question(s):
1) Why does the OLF Web site sometimes report no activity in the past 7 days and sometimes correctly report all activity in the past 7 days? For instance, last night, it was showing everything she'd done in the past 7 days, including activity from yesterday. This morning, it's showing "no activity in the past 7 days". Not the first time it's done that. It almost seems like I need to keep trying to log on to get that "magic connection" that shows the activity. It's about 50-50. Any idea why this is?
2) Before you suggest it's something on my end, please explain to me why a Web-based service that works when her laptop is completely turned off would have its functionality affected by anything at all on her laptop?
Thanks in advance for your reply.
