SSD and NIS

I'm running WinXP SP3 from an "older" OCZ SSD drive (Micron controller). The SSD drive READS super fast but writes like a slug. I've directed Windows to point program settings to a different drive: "Z:\Documents and Settings". All applications EXCEPT Norton are now using the z:\ drive for all settings.

Is there a way to get Norton to also use the other HDD so I can take advantage of the speed of my SSD?

BTW, I set the Windows Variables (Temp and tmp) to the HDD as well. Even my Firefox web browser cache is pointed to the HDD rather than to write to the SSD.

Any ideas how I can get NIS to behave or am I stuck with a slower NIS on my C:\ SSD?

Thanks in advance,

Greg
