SSR and Ghost 15 files

I remember a week or so ago someone asked if SSR 2013 is compatible with recovery points(.v2i files) created with Ghost 15.

 

I backed up my multi boot machine (Win8x2, Win7x2, Vista and XP) with Ghost 15 and then used SSR 2013 to recover the computer using Ghost 15 files.

The recovery went very well,no added entries in boot manager, both Win8 O/Ss and the other 4 recovered ok.

Ghost 15 can't cope with Win8 but SSR 2013 can, so an upgrade to SSR will work ok with files created with G15.

 

I may well be a bit late with this post but I thought it worth a mention anyway.

If the format is v2i they should be compatible
